Cocoa Butter for Hair Loss

Cocoa butter is another effective ingredient that benefits your hair and skin. It is a natural oil butter that forms an important ingredient in various hair masks, conditioners and hair oils as well as lotions, cosmetics and other products. Cocoa butter is beneficial for hair loss and produces shiny and healthy hair. It can be very well prepared at home and can be used to prevent hair loss.

Cocoa Butter has the following benefits:

  • It acts as a moisturizer and stimulates the follicles to grow.
  • It adds volume to fine hair and increases its flexibility for styling.

Homemade Cocoa Butter Products for Hair

To increase the resilience and strength of fine hair:


  • Cocoa butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat-germ oil – 4 tablespoons
  • Grape-seed oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Dried chamomile flowers – 1 tablespoon
  • Dried rosemary leaves – 1 tablespoon
  • Raw apple cider vinegar – 1 tablespoon
  • Egg yolk – 1
  • Rosemary essential oil – 5 drops


  • Combine all these ingredients to make a mixture.
  • Wash the hair with water.
  • Apply the mixture to the scalp and hair.
  • Cover the entire hair with a soft towel and leave it for an hour.
  • Rinse the hair with water.

Cocoa butter moisturizer


  • Cocoa butter – ½ cup
  • Coconut oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Mixing bowl made of glass
  • Distilled water – 2 tablespoons
  • Polysorbate 20 – 1 tablespoon
  • Amino powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Stirring stick


  • Mix cocoa butter and coconut oil in a bowl. Heat the bowl in microwave for 2 minutes. The ingredients in the bowl melt into a smooth cream.
  • Add distilled water into the bowl.
  • Add polysorbate into the bowl and mix the ingredients. Polysorbate is an emulsifier that binds the oil ingredients with water.
  • Add amino acid powder and mix it thoroughly so that cocoa butter emulsion absorbs it completely.
  • Apply the product to your hair. Leave it for sometime and completely rinse your hair with water.
  • It produces moisturizing effect on your hair and stimulates growth of follicles.
