Dandruff Treatment: Is Egg Good for Dandruff Treatment?

Are you scared of wearing dark clothes? Is dandruff a cause of concern for you? Are you tired of constantly looking at your shoulders for any signs of dandruff? Well, dandruff can be distressing and a social embarrassment. Not only that it can also lead to dandruff-induced hair loss. One simple home remedy for dandruff is the egg.

Egg and dandruff treatment
Egg is said to treat dandruff problems along with making the hair healthy. Egg contains nutrients like proteins, iron, magnesium, zinc, vitamins etc. These nutrients are essential for the proper growth of healthy hair. Thus, besides treating dandruff, eggs can stimulate hair growth. Egg can be included in your diet or applied externally to the hair in the following ways:

  1. Take 2 eggs and beat them. Add 2 tablespoons of water to eggs. Wet the hair and apply this mixture to the hair. Gently massage the scalp for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with warm or cold water.
  2. Mix 3 tablespoons of henna powder, an egg and lemon juice together. Apply this paste to the hair and the scalp. Gently massage the scalp. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold or lukewarm water.

Both these natural dandruff treatments can be carried out once a week.
